Bullying

Bullying is wrong. Bullying happens when someone hurts or scares another person on purpose and the person being bullied has a hard time defending themselves. The people being bullied can´t defence themselves. It is behaviour that makes the person being bullied feel afraid or uncomfortable.
One of each seven students have been bulled.

There are many ways that young people bully each other.

1- Verbal: Make bad rumors about people, sarcasm, making negative reference to ones, culture, ethnicity, race, religion, gender or sexual orientation. Make jokes about the people.

2- Social: Excluding others from a group humiliating others with public gestures or graffiti intended to put others down.

3- Physical: Punching, shoving, and other acts that hurt people physically. Destroying or stealing belongings.

4- Cyber:  Using the internet or text messaging to intimidate, rumors.

Effects of bullying: It can make children feel lonely unhappy. It can make them feel unsafe and think there must be something wrong with them.

Children can lose confidence and may not want to go to school anymore. It may even make them sick.

Recommendations:

Victim
Walk away
Tell someone you trust
Stay groups to avoid confrontation

Teacher

Detect victim and aggressor
Ask parents about the kids. For example: How to sleep. If the child have stomach pain, headache, vomit, constant crying or if the victim has been ill.
The teacher should follow the children at a safe distance.

Finally and only then can understand what happens, everyone involved should talk even with a counselor at time.
